Be sure to keep your financial records with you. Do not pack away important financial information that may be needed to complete the purchase of your home. Searching for records that are in storage creates an unnecessary headache in the buying process. Keep copies of your pay statements, the last two years of your income tax, and any other records your lender has requested available to you.
